Come as you are to the local spot where townies kick back among what passes in Bon Temps for the normal crowd. It's an unassuming place where you can grab a burger and a beer. But think twice about sending back an order unless you're looking for a healthy serving of snark from the head cook, Lafayette.

The above-ground option for the truly underground scene. There's definitely a pulse here — depending on whom you're talking to. If you're looking to dance on the dark side and spend the night with a vampire or two, the crowd and atmosphere at Fangtasia make it

Stackhouse Home
A must-see for True fans, this has been home to Sookie since she was six years old. It's also been the scene of some of the most gripping dramas in the history of Bon Temps. It's safe to drop by for a peek, but please don't enter unless you're invited — whether you're a vampire or not.
Compton House
As home to the Vampire King of Louisiana, if the walls here could talk, they'd probably scream. While it started as a somewhat run-down plantation house, it's been refurbished to befit a king. The current home of both Bill Compton and Jessica Hamby, it's best to visit only by day.
Bon Temps Cemetery
If you're looking to dig up some history, you can't do better than the resting place of Bon Temps residents — though it's not always their final one. Nestled between the homes of Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton, it can be a lot more lively than your typical graveyard. Keep an eye out for Bill Compton's grave, and if you feel adventurous, a midnight visit can give you the night, or fright, of your life.

Werewolf Lair
If you're an animal lover and you're not afraid of
the big bad woods, a walk to the lair that the wolf
pack calls home makes a great day hike.
However, we strongly urge you to carry a good
pair of binoculars so you can keep a safe
distance. They tend to bristle at unannounced visitors. That being said, catching a glimpse of them in their home environment can really shift
your perspective.
Faerieland
Discover a supernaturally beautiful Garden of Eden right in the heart of Bon Temps — sort of.
If time seems to stand still here, that's because it does. Literally. While you're here, you'll leave reality behind and lose yourself in what feels like another dimension entirely. If you're a nature lover, this is a definite don't-miss destination — assuming you're lucky enough to find it.
Vamp Camp
If you're a science buff, this can be quite an educational spot to learn about vampires. While highly controversial and even nefarious, depending on your politics, in its time it was the leading research facility for vampire observation, experimentation, and development of anti-vampire ordnance.
